A little bit of love from a happy client! January 29, 2011

“Hello All,

My name is Nicole and I was recently a client of Jill’s. I promised both Kate and Jill that I would post pictures and a link to my wedding blog. I have been a client of your salon for a while, although under a different last name, and I have always been impressed with your stylists. When I came in this last time I was getting my hair colored blond and red. Jill, being a newer stylist, was unsure that she would be able to do it in the time booked, but Kate jumped right in and helped her mix and color my hair. Kate had an absolutely amazing attitude and spirit, and I just wanted to say that I think she adds something special to your salon. The price was fantastic and the service was the best that I could ask for with what I wanted. So thank you for everything and enjoy the blog. I am not quite finished with my blog, but I gave you guys a raving review and linked to your website.

Sincerely,
Nicole”

We swear that this client was not bribed or compensated  :)

♥♥♥ Thank you Nicole!!!!! ♥♥♥

May Mom of the Month Make-over…say that 5 times fast! May 10, 2010

Check out these pictures of our May Mom of the Month Make-over!  Every month, Raising Maine Magazine picks a mother that they feel deserves a make-over, and the members of the Head Games team volunteer their time to take on the job! Kate pampered May Mom,  Patricia,  all day and did services such as Cut, Color, Hilights, Eyebrow Wax, Eyebrow Tint, Lash Tint, and Makeup application.  Patricia is a wonderful mother and grandmother who has the same look for 30 years! Kate changed that…and the May Mom felt and looked like a new, refreshed Patricia.

Spring into Skin Care! March 17, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Head Games Salon @ 3:49 pm

The Equinox is approaching, so… time for Spring Skin! Facials are recommended at least quarterly in the northeast-where, with 4 seasons, skin can stress during the season transition. The Dr. Hauschka Classic Treatment is a deep cleansing, balancing treatment that nurtures both skin and soul. The feet, legs, arms, and back are treated first, helping to balance the bodys rythmic systems. The nurturing, deep cleansing and lymph stimulation bestow a rejuvenated, healthy beauty that is revered by both men and women. This is exactly what we want during the most challenging of weather transitions…help with out skin! Spring is in! ~Mau

Mau’s Beauty tips for the week… February 19, 2010

Use a richer, more protective day cream on your face, to protect against the harsh cold and wind. Make sure to get your ears, neck, decollate, and the back of the hands. The hands and neck have fewer fat cells than the face making them prone to dryness and wrinkles. Apply your moisturizer in gravity-defying upward strokes for an instant lifting effect.

A great way to ‘start from scratch’ is to have a full exfoliation done of the body and get a facial. Say ‘good-bye’ to dry skin and ‘hello’ to nourished skin that will be excited for the next season!
